How it affects my recommendations
It doesn’t. I recommend tours based on what they include, what travellers say about them and who each one suits — and I keep the downsides in the reviews, because a reader who books the wrong tour doesn’t come back. This site is independent: I’m not the National Park Service, not Alcatraz City Cruises, and not a tour operator.
